"I wrote this album on my own in the between times of 2022, on planes, trains, buses, motorways, in hotels, sublets, friend's sofas, cafes and parks. The process was like a songwriter's, growing and tweaking them from unshared improvisations, lyrics and voice memos in search of the right feeling for each song.
